No. The model is built in, so installing the extension is all it takes. There’s no key to configure and no separate bill from a third party.
A review is counted when you start working a prompt through Alide - answering its questions and building the result. Typing in the box and reading what Alide says about your draft costs nothing, and neither does anything else you do with a prompt once it has started. Starter includes 20 reviews a month, up to 4 a day for the launch period (normally 10 and 2). Everything else - Max Effort, Deep Thinking, attachment context, follow-ups - is included on every plan. Pro lifts the review limit under a fair-use policy.
Alide does not store your prompts. It remembers which suggestions you pick, ignore, or undo to tailor future suggestions. That activity is never sold or shared, and is deleted after 90 days or on demand from the popup.
The prompt box and visible conversation on supported chat sites, plus files you attach there: that’s what it reviews. It reads nothing else, on no other sites. Your settings and suggestion history sync to your Alide account so they follow you across devices.
