Do I need an API key or any setup?
No. The model is built in, so installing the extension is all it takes. There’s no key to configure and no separate bill from a third party.
What counts as a review, and what are the limits?
Each time Alide analyzes a draft, that’s one review. Starter includes 5 reviews a day, 2 follow-ups per reply, and a monthly taste of Max Effort and Deep Thinking. Pro lifts those limits under a fair-use policy.
Does Alide store or train on my prompts?
Alide does not store your prompts. It remembers which suggestions you pick, ignore, or undo to tailor future suggestions. That activity is never sold or shared, and is deleted after 90 days or on demand from the popup.
What does the extension actually access?
The prompt box and visible conversation on supported chat sites, plus files you attach there: that’s what it reviews. It reads nothing else, on no other sites. Your settings and suggestion history sync to your Alide account so they follow you across devices.
Can I cancel a paid plan?
Anytime, in one click. Pro features switch off, and Starter keeps working, free. Your settings and suggestion history stay in your account either way - and you can delete them whenever you like.
